HoB proposes a radical idea: that we…ya know…sit down and talk. That we share a few bottles of wine, enjoy a beautiful meal…that we literally break bread with a whole table of strangers in a secret little patio in the heart of Lisbon. Sure…we’ll probably end up talking about fucking and fantasies and the best place for a ruined orgasm (Sporting Clube Penha de França, though we’ll field suggestions). In the process, we’ll share our experiences, laugh together (and a little at ourselves, too), and leave as friends in a fledgling community we’re helping create.
The takeaway (other than the phone number of that hot person two chairs over and maybe an extra sobremesa)? No one knows what they’re doing. And it’s ok not to know. Talking about it makes us all feel a little less lonely and a little more comfortable.
